Dr Nirmala M is a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist at Motherhood Hospitals, Whitefield, Bangalore. With more than fifteen years of clinical experience, she completed her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology followed by advanced fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr Nirmala specialises in assessing and treating complex infertility issues, including polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis and male-factor infertility, offering evidence-based interventions such as controlled ovarian stimulation, intrauterine insemination (IUI) and protocol-driven in vitro fertilisation (IVF). Her antenatal care encompasses comprehensive screening for gestational diabetes, hypertension and genetic anomalies, ensuring safe, tailored birth plans. As part of her holistic approach, she provides preconception counselling that emphasises lifestyle optimisation, nutritional guidance and mental well-being.
