Dr Nisha Krishnamurthy is an accomplished Paediatric Nephrologist based in Mumbai with over 18 years of experience in treating complex kidney disorders in children. She currently practises at SRCC Children’s Hospital and holds an MD in Paediatrics from Government Medical College, Nagpur. She also completed an advanced fellowship in Paediatric Nephrology from Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, supported by the International Paediatric Nephrology Association. Dr Krishnamurthy is widely recognised for her work in managing nephrotic syndrome, congenital kidney anomalies, paediatric dialysis and chronic kidney disease, with a growing focus on paediatric transplant care. She is deeply involved in acute renal care training and guides paediatric residents and nephrology fellows in high-pressure, intensive decision-making scenarios. Her clinical judgement and leadership make her a sought-after expert for both routine and emergency renal interventions in paediatric cases. She also works towards improving renal care protocols for children in low-resource settings.
