Dr. Preeti Sharma is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over eleven years of dedicated service to women’s health. She earned her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before completing a fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. Dr. Sharma specialises in high-risk obstetrics—managing pregnancies complicated by preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction and multiple gestations—using comprehensive foetal surveillance protocols and multidisciplinary teams to ensure healthy maternal–foetal outcomes.
Her gynaecological expertise includes managing endometriosis, fibroids and recurrent pregnancy loss. She performs advanced keyhole surgeries—such as laparoscopic myomectomy, endometriotic lesion excision and salpingectomy for ectopic pregnancies—employing energy-based devices to minimise intraoperative bleeding and accelerate recovery. Dr. Sharma also conducts fertility evaluations, guiding couples through ovulation induction protocols, IUI cycles and referrals for IVF when indicated. Known for her empathetic bedside manner, she provides thorough counselling on family planning options, prenatal and postnatal nutrition and contraception. She actively participates in community health drives on cervical cancer screening and adolescent menstrual health education. Dr. Sharma also mentors postgraduate trainees in gynaecological surgery workshops and contributes to research on laparoscopic innovations and patient safety.
