Dr Nirmala Chandrasekar is a seasoned Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Fortis Hospital, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore. She completed her MBBS from Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, in 2004, followed by MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from JJM Medical College, Karnataka, in 2008. She pursued a Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology from Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute in 2010, and further honed her skills with training in endoscopic surgery at AV Hospital, obstetric ultrasound from the Fetal Foundation of India, and a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India. With over 18 years of clinical experience, Dr Chandrasekar provides expert care in high‑risk pregnancies, advanced gynaecological procedures, and minimally invasive surgeries. She is known for her proficiency in managing high‑risk obstetrics, performing laparoscopic procedures, and promoting women’s pelvic health, particularly cervical cancer awareness.
