Dr Ankur Rajvanshi is Lead & HOD - NICU & Neonatology and Senior Consultant - Pediatrics at Aster Women & Children Hospital, Bengaluru. With more than 17 years of clinical experience, he specialises in caring for newborns and children, particularly critically ill and extremely premature babies. His expertise includes neonatal intensive care and ventilation, management of babies born as early as 24 to 25 weeks, preterm nutrition and growth optimisation, hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy, neonatal resuscitation and stabilisation, neonatal surgical cases and specialised neonatal transport, including air transport. After completing MD in Paediatrics, he gained rural clinical experience and pursued fellowship training in Neonatology at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bengaluru. He subsequently worked in the NICU at Manipal Hospitals for three years and spent seven years at Cloudnine Hospitals, Whitefield. He also completed the International Program on Preterm Nutrition through the University of Western Australia in association with King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women.
